Imperial Japanese Army Tank: 1/35 Destroyer Type 3 \[Honi-III\] (With Interior) – Model Kit
The Type 3 artillery tank (Honi III) was planned by the Army Ordnance Administration Headquarters in 1944 as a seven-and-a-half (75mm) artillery tank (A)!
Based on the Type 1 Seven Semi-Self-Propelled Gun (Honi I), which had already been deployed in actual combat, in addition to the traditional use of an artillery tank whose main mission is to suppress enemy positions, it also has anti-tank combat capabilities that can counter powerful enemy tanks. Using the chassis of a Type 97 medium tank, it had a fixed but fully armored, sealed battle compartment that could provide full protection. The main gun was equipped with a Type 3 7-tank semi-tank gun based on the Type 90 field gun, and was expected to be a tank capable of destroying the U.S. Army M4 tank from the front at a distance of 600 meters.
This 1/35-scale model kit from Fine Molds has been renewed based on the limited specification with interior parts added, and the size of the package has been revised.
Specifications: Plastic Model Kit
