Japan Imperial Navy Destroyer: 1/350 Akebono – Model Kit
The 18th special-type destroyer of the Fubuki class that shook the world, the eighth special-type II, is the Akebono!
After commissioning in 1931, she participated in the first Shanghai Incident, participated in the Hangzhou Bay Landing Operation during the Sino-Japanese War, and also took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Fine Molds’ new model kit of the Akebono depicts her 1944 appearance with lots of anti-aircraft guns. The bowl-shaped air intake and machine gun stand at the base of the second chimney, which is also one of Akebono’s features, are reproduced with newly molded parts!
Specifications: Plastic Model Kit
