It is a meditative journey of fire and light across the ages of history – as told from the perspective of fire itself. Across the ages, it has been our tool, our weapon, and our beacon… telling the tale of our triumphs and tragedies, our private darkness and inner light. Woven with hardship, healing, and hope, this strange and visionary tale gently reminds us that we are without measure… and that when we choose to share our light, we can illuminate the world. Perfect for a bedside, a coffee table, or a quiet corner. AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is a story for both children and adults (ages 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and up). However, please note that there are several childlike drawings of war throughout the book. Author Biography

John David Buell is an author, illustrator, and screenwriter. He has been writing stories since the age of six, when he penned a series of thirty picture books about the adventures of Godzilla. (He admits he was a little obsessed.) He believes that everyone, and everything, is CONNECTED – in fun, beautiful, and often invisible ways – and that there is a flame in each of us just waiting to be ignited. After earning a bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University, he moved to Los Angeles, where he is spreading his vision of an empowered, compassionate, and unified world.
