The story begins by describing a magical place inside of your child’s room (“just under your bed -in reach of your broom!”) where his/her stuffed animals play, make friends, and have fun while your child is sleeping! In a rhyming, playful narrative, it goes on to describe the uniquely admirable qualities of each animal and their relationships with each other. You and your child are bound to relate to these sweet creatures as you read about how goofy, loving, mischievous, playful, smart, and brave they are. By the end of the book, your child can dream about magical, friendly animals, not monsters, playing under his/her bed at night!
Author Biography
Meg Smiley is a Graphic Artist, writer, and illustrator living in Long Island, New York with her husband. She received her BFA in Graphic Design in 2011 from Iowa State University. She was born and raised in Southern California, and brings a fun, vibrant, whimsical quality to all of her work. These qualities are also present in her small business (and Etsy shop), “Phigment Design Studio,” which she started in 2012. Your warranty will cover any manufacturing defects which, if existing, will present themselves within this warranty period.
