Big Book of Feelings

Big Book of Feelings is a coloring and activity book designed to help your child learn more about feelings that he or she experiences on a daily basis. This book covers 30 unique feeling words and provides short story examples for each one. With each new word, your child is given the opportunity to write and draw about times when they’ve felt similarly. Big Book of Feelings also includes a Feelings Journal which is helpful for allowing your child to document whenever they experience any of the feeling words they’ve learned. Using this workbook will increase your child’s knowledge of different feelings words and will assist them in being able to express to you more accurately their emotions. Increasing your child’s competence in feelings identification will enhance their ability to respond more empathically to others.

Author Biography

Z. Andrew Jatau, MS, has served diverse populations in his work as a case manager, professional counselor, and adjunct professor. Through his different roles, he has developed a passion for working with youth and helping them develop the skills necessary to be successful in the home, school, and community. He has authored five books including, Girls Can Do This! Boys Can Do That!, Big Book of Feelings (Vol. 1), Cope With It! (Vol. 1), The Bullying Workbook, and The Social Skills Worbook. He works to create tools for parents and professionals to utilize in promoting healthy skills development in their children. He has developed and implemented programs and presentations focused on helping children, teens, and young adults develop socially and emotionally. He is the founder and CEO of Mylemarks LLC.
