Denise Neu earned her PhD at the University of New Orleans and now resides in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. In addition to a career in public policy and community development, she is a humanities scholar and longtime craft beer enthusiast. Combining her love of great beer and her training as an urban social scientist, she hopes that you will enjoy her pint-sized history lessons along with your pint.
