Author Biography
Philippa Rae has worked for and with children most of her life – as a dance teacher, youth worker, BBC radio producer and now children’s writer. She has also been involved in independant film making such as the Moondance International Film Festival, and charity projects. She has had stories and poetry anthologized in collections such as An Advent Calender of Stories, Hippo-dee-doo-dah, Dear Tomato; An International Crop of Poems on Food and Agriculture and magazines such as Highlights, Stinkwaves, and The School Magazine. She has also been broadcast on BBC Children’s Radio. Her picture book Count the Sheep to Sleep won a silver award at the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. Tevin Hansen is the author of numerous books and short stories. When he isn’t skateboarding, or reading half a dozen books simultaneously, he enjoys chasing his two small children around the house while singing horrendous versions of children’s songs.
