Tucker, now 83, is a hugely prolific and largely unknown cult musician in the folk world, releasing music since the 1960s. David Bowie counted the 1969 Tony Visconti-produced ‘Ten Songs by Tucker Zimmerman’ among his favourite 10 albums of all time. In 2022, Big Thief connected with Tucker and took him on tour, starting a beautiful creative relationship. Earlier this year, they got back together at Big Thief’s Double Infinity studio to record a collaborative album ‘Dance of Love’ produced by Big Thief and featuring Adrianne vocals across many tracks. The result is a beautiful wholesome album that we’re honoured to be releasing and in doing so, hope to bring Tucker and his enduring legacy into the spotlight.
