Alex Brett has worked variously as a freelance science writer, laboratory technician, field research technician, and park naturalist. After almost ten years as a writer, editor, and press officer with the National Research Council of Canada, she decided it was time to have some real fun with science, and the Morgan O’Brien mysteries were born.
