Julian Wolfreys is Associate Professor of Victorian Literary and Cultural Studies with the Department of English, Loughborough, UK, and the University of Florida, USA. The author and editor of numerous books and articles, his most recent publications are Readings: Acts of Close Reading in Literary Theory (EUP) and Victorian Haunting: Spectrality, Gothic, the Uncanny (Palgrave).
