Dreamer's Powerful Tiger

Teaching children about dreams as they grow and develop not only empowers them, it also strengthens and deepens your relationship with them. Dreamer’s Powerful Tiger values and honors the inner life as well as the outer life of children, and shows how lucid dreamwork and dreamplay can benefit a child’s relationship to his or her family and community. In this book, Dreamer and his family explore the powerful feelings that arise for children developmentally with chasing and animal dreams, and suggest a comprehensive Senoi-inspired approach to coping with, resolving, learning, and growing from them.

Author Biography

Angel K. Morgan, Ph.D. is Founder of Dreambridge, Past President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, Professor and Director of the Dream Studies Certificate program in the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University. An interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker, she received an M.A. in Human Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in Theater, Film, and Television from UCLA. When her two children were little, she trained at the Rudolf Steiner College and was a Waldorf class teacher in California. Since 2006, she has enjoyed living in Ashland, Oregon. A recipient of the William Fadiman writing award, her first children’s book was The Alphabliss of Miss. Akasha Morgan is a second-generation Senoi-inspired dreamer and an artist of many mediums. She feels passionate about inner-child work, photography, nature, holistic health, and her family and friends. Her art was first published on the dedication page of The Alphabliss of Miss. She hopes Dreamer’s Powerful Tiger, a story she heard herself when growing up, will help improve the world for generations.
