Oftentimes, we find that out of the deepest, darkest, most pain-filled times of our lives, a wonderful, awesome, relationship is born with our Creator. In my late forties, after living some 10-12 years with acute alcoholism and the mental illness of Bi-Polar disorder, and the dying and later death of a thirty year marriage, I found that the God of my childhood, or rather the knowledge I had of Him was not enough to sustain me. I knew there just had to be more than the kind of relationship I had with Him. I began to seek with all my heart and being for a deeper communication with Him. I wanted Him to communicate with me. Author Biography

Since eternity past God wove the tapestry of our lives. By living in this world, we began to snarl and tear many of the beautiful threads of His creation. His greatest desire is to communicate with His people on a level they can understand, even in everyday circumstances. In the past few years I have seen the Co-Author knocked down time and time again in many trying situations. From dealing with acute alcoholism, to bi-polar disorder, a violent marriage, to the deaths of both parents in less than one year. Always I have seen her special relationship with her Lord pick her up and sustain her through these fiery times. She always says “prayer is 20% talking and 80% listening”. May you the reader be blessed with a new hunger to listen for His voice.
