A transistor is an electronic component that can be utilized in a variety of electronic devices because it can be used in circuits to either amplify or switch electrical signals or power. Two PN diodes connected back-to-back form a transistor. It has emitter, base, and collector terminals as its three terminals. The fundamental principle of a transistor is that it enables you to modify the intensity of a much smaller current that is flowing through a second channel in order to control the flow of current through one channel. Transistors are used extensively in daily life. They serve a purpose in almost every type of circuit in which they are utilized.
