Author Biography
Ann’s passion for coaching was sparked by her fascination with people as the tipping force for success in the wide variety of workshops she has facilitated around the world, across industries, technology platforms, and product offerings. Her appreciation for powerful leadership was fueled after the spectacular failure of a start-up software company she co-founded, and her zeal for collaboration was crystallized as the Director of the Stanford Advanced Project Management program, a unique learning community of Stanford University tenured faculty and industry leaders charged with converting strategy into action. She applied these experiences to the wild world of healthcare; designing and facilitating the collaborative decision-making process for a key HMO’s Electronic Healthcare Record implementation, and then codified those learnings as the Project Manager for Connected for Health. Experienced technical business executive who has successfully led global strategic initiatives across multiple industries and cross-functional organizations. Delivers business results through performance incubation using “Designing for Adoption” approach. I have a passion for process excellence and delivering a great customer experience using human centered design principles. Recently pioneering the use of Rapid Process Automation (RPA) and process mining technology in the Healthcare industry. Allie Marini is a cross-genre writer holding degrees from both Antioch University of Los Angeles & New College of Florida. She was a 2018 Shitty Women in Literature nominee, and has been a finalist for Best of the Net and nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her masthead credits include Lunch Ticket, Spry Literary Journal & Mojave River Review. She has published a number of chapbooks, including Pictures from the Center of the Universe (Paper Nautilus, winner of the Vella Prize), and Southern Cryptozoology: A Field Guide to Beasts of the Southern Wild (Hyacinth Girl Press, a finalist for the SFPA’s Elgin Award). In addition to her work on the page, Allie was a member of Oakland’s 2017 National Slam Team. Allie writes poetry, fiction, and essays.
