Author Biography

The Heartbreak Hotel was set up in 2021 as a retreat for heartbroken women by good friends Alice and Ruth, who met at Edinburgh University. Their mission is to light up hearts all over the world.

Alice Haddon is a psychologist and psychology lecturer at the University of London. Her writing has been featured in The Times, Harper’s Bazaar and HuffPost. Ruth Field is an accredited coach and bestselling self help author who practised for a decade as a criminal barrister.
