A Rocha is an international Christian environmental stewardship organization which, inspired by God’s love, engages in scientific research, environmental education, community-based conservation projects and sustainable agriculture. Food is a big part of the A Rocha Canada story. It weaves through the fabric of our daily work across the country. We enjoy preparing fresh wholesome good food using seasonable vegetables grown sustainably from our organic garden and sharing them with the people in the community. This cookbook is joyfully filled with favourite recipes as well as a sprinkle of reflections and a drizzle of quotes. You could use it to cook for a crowd or for your loved ones. Author Biography
Pamela Soo is a dedicated and inspiring teacher with Pathlight School, an autism-focused school in Singapore. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in Marine Biology and she enjoys the outdoors and making food and things. A Singaporean transplant to Canada, Shai Kroeker has a background in education, editorial work and public relations. She is serving with A Rocha Canada’s Environmental Centre. She loves the integration of teaching children, hospitality, making food and community. An American transplant to Canada, Leah Kostamo has a background in campus ministry and education. For the past 15 years, Leah has worked alongside her husband, Markku, to show God’s love for all of creation through the ministry of A Rocha. She lives and thrives on Kingfisher Farm in Surrey, BC.
