Author Biography
Shawn Peeples-McDowell, also known as Ms. Shawn, is a devoted mother of son and daughter twins. Through her hands-on parenting experience and her active involvement in their schooling, sports including ballet and church ministries, she discovered the gaps in adolescent and young adult preparedness. Inspired by her beloved pastor’s legacy and a special mentor in the church, Ms. Shawn embarked on a mission to make a difference. In 2022, she began developing a guidance workbook to help parents, teachers, and mentors guide the next generation towards a successful life. Her book, Game Changer Recipes, aims to positively impact all leadership reaching millenniums aged 13 to 23.
