“I Love Vegetables!” is a companion photo story book to “I Love Fruit!”. It is designed to interest children in vegetables by showing them where they grow and what they look like. It is illustrated by full colour photos and the story is narrated by Jacob Rabbit. It features 17 types of vegetables.
Author Biography
The books are written by Tagore Ramoutar, he is happily married and has two little daughters. He lives in South West London. The books have been written, illustrated by Tagore and characters are his (and his girls) creations. Where needed the photographs have been taken specially for the books but some are just everyday photos from family activities. The books combine a story told from the point of view of the character and photographs to illustrate, many of the books include facts about the pictures that can be shared with the child when they ask questions. The stories have been inspired by the conversations Tagore had with his daughters and the things they are interested in. All the stories are targeted at the 2 to 6 year old age range and apart from Arabellafella equally targeted at boys and girls. The books are part of a collection of gifts for children that will include clothing and toys based on the same characters
