This book is intended for personal and group Bible study in order to understand the book of Colossians in its historical context and then apply it to our contemporary context. The book attempts to guide you to understand Christ in a deeper way and appreciate his identity and work. In Short, “The book of Colossians portrays Christ as the God-Man. Paul insists on a balanced Christology in this area, emphasizing both Christ’s divinity and His humanity. Thus the book of Colossians is an antidote to other twisted Christologies that distort the identity as well as the work of Christ.” From the Introduction
