Aviva Gittle wrote her first song at age seven and first poem at age 11. “Mort the Fly” which she wrote in 2005, was her first self-publishing project in 2013. Since that time, she has published over a dozen children’s books, with many more to come. Aviva also hosts The Gittle List, a contest exclusively for indie authors of children’s picture books. She now lives in Houston, TX. close to her family, including her two smart, handsome, and talented grandsons, Louis and Vince. (This is a grandmother’s completely unbiased assessment.)
