Author Biography
Kelly Coryell grew up on a farm in Southern, Oregon in a family where storytelling was a way of life among her seven sisters and one brother. She continued the tradition with her five children, imparting life lessons through her “chicken” stories. They loved the stories, so she decided to put them into print and share “Little Purple” with children everywhere. The stories are now being translated into Chinese, Thai, Spanish and Korean. Jerilynn Garry surrounds herself with words and art. She has published a coloring activity book, and a children’s book The Angry Trees She lives with her patient husband, John, and two mini-schnauzers, Dixie and Daisy. She loves quilting, writing, drawing, making jewelry and photography. Her motto: Never stop seeing.
