Methodologies for Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third Pacific-Asia Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, PAKDD ’99, held in Beijing, China, in April 1999.The 29 revised full papers presented together with 37 short papers were carefully selected from a total of 158 submissions.
