Author Biography
Laura Shallcrass is an artist and author, and a busy mum of two boys. Laura works from home in the hills near Queenstown, New Zealand, where she lives with her husband and children, along with an ever-growing zoo of furry friends.
Laura is the author of Hare and Ruru and What Colour Is The Sky?. Hare and Ruru was the winner of the Russell Clark Award for Beat Illustrated Book – 2021 NZ Book Awards for Children and Young Adults and a Storylines Notable Book Award 2021.
