Ryuta Amazume is a true manga veteran and possibly one of the most recognized ero-comedy artists in modern history.
A
comic artist since his college days, Amazume broke through in the world
of adult comics in the late 90’s. Eventually his art and story-telling
caught the eyes of Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine. In 2001, his
debut series Toshiue no Hito set into stone his place among some
of the greats in romance comedies at it immediately made an impact with
young adult readers across Japan. Since then he has penned nearly twenty
titles, most of them focusing on young couples finding love under
comedic and touching circumstances.
