Known for his outdoor, travel, adventure, surf, and lifestyle photography, Burkard’s images are punctuated by untamed, powerful landscapes. His visionary perspective has earned him opportunities to work on prominent global campaigns with Fortune 500 clients, speak on the TED stage, design product lines, educate, and publish a growing collection of books. When he isn’t on assignment around the world, Burkard can be found on the Central Coast of California, where he grew up, or in Reykjavik, Iceland, with his wife and two sons.
