Frank Decker is a homicide detective. He loves his job. He hates puppets. Puppets exist as part of our society. They walk, talk, have careers and dreams and desires just like any other person. Homicide detective Frank Decker hates them and has for just about as long as he can remember. His bigotries and prejudices are well known through out the precinct, and because of this he is being assigned a new partner. Enter Zelquist, a fairly assimilated and by the books Plushie. Together the two of them must investigate and solve the murder of a puppet prostitute that was working at the Plushie Palace bordello at the time of her demise, but the case may not be as cut and dry as it appears on the surface. Will Decker be able to put his personal views aside to crack the case? Will they ever discover the identity of the vicious killer that ended this puppet’s life? Nick Rock was born, raised and lives in Southern California. To go anywhere else would be too far out of his comfort zone. He’s always wanted to be a writer in some form. He describes himself as a slacker, a procrastinator, a writer, a gamer and a pop culture junkie. He spends most of his time at a day job he tolerates or at home with a family he loves which includes his girlfriend Meghan and their four cats Biz, Boba, Pumpkin and Clover. He is usually either video/board gaming or reading comic books. He has an extensive X-men collection, you should see it some time.
