Author Biography
Edward Barsley is Director at The Environmental
Design Studio Ltd and a specialist in environmental design in architecture, with a particular interest in developing strategies to reduce flood risk and increase resilience in the built environment. He speaks regularly at conferences and events in the UK and internationally and in 2016 won the Sunday Times / British Homes Award ‘Resilient Home’ design competition, in collaboration with JTP, with the scheme entitled ‘A Home For All Seasons’. He has also been working with the RIBA on
policy reports and running their nationwide Core CPD seminar series on flooding.
