The MG34 and MG42 were two of the main machine guns employed by the Wehrmacht during WWII. Supplied from 1936, the MG34 could fire up to 900 rounds per minute, a number bettered by 1,200 per minute of the MG42, a more mass production-oriented design used from 1942. Both were frequently fired from two-pronged stands, but they were even more formidable when employed with the Lafette tripod and its optical sight.
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly set creating 5 figures of a machine gun team.
