Dr. Leo Nissola is an award-winning immunologist and cancer researcher, frequently featured as a medical expert on the BBC, CBS, FOX, MSNBC, NBC, and other networks. Dr. Nissola built, evaluated, and designed data-driven COVID-19 epidemiological models, some of which were featured by the White House in Press Briefings, while conducting early phase drug discovery immunotherapy clinical trials for patients with advanced cancer at Sean Parker’s research institute, enrolling patients in leading academic institutions across the United States. He has led multi-billion-dollar drug assets at leading biotechnology and multinational pharmaceutical companies. He is a former University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Medical Oncology Research Fellow, an intern at Charles First Faculty of Medicine at University Karolinska. Dr. Nissola’s words and opinion have been published by numerous prestigious news outlets in the United States, including The Hill, NASDAQ, NBC News, San Francisco Chronicle, and the USA Today.
