Ulrich Pfisterer is professor of art history at the Institut fuIA r Kunstgeschichte at the Lugwig-Maximilians-Universitat in Munich.
David Dollenmayer is a prizewinning literary translator and emeritus professor of German at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
