Rock and Roll…the soundtrack to our lives. How many of life’s memories have a particular song attached. Many of us grew up in what has to be at least considered to be one of the “Golden Eras” of live music. Sadly, like so many things these days, it has become a commercial business. Tickets cost as much as a car payment (or more!). Too often, you go to these reunions (or worse, a lineup that might only contain ONE original member), only to come away feeling cheated as well as lighter in the wallet. These groups of musicians are rising from the ashes of your dreams to bring you an experience that takes you back to the good times without breaking the bank. Author TW Brown spent two years in the Portland, Oregon Tribute Band scene where he was able to sit down with many of the performers and find out why they do this, and what makes the Tribute Band scene special.
