Economics exerts a considerable impact on everyday life. Yet, economic theory is often communicated as removed and difficult with little relation to real-life situations. Author Biography

Vicky Allsopp is senior lecturer in Economics at Middlesex University where she teaches economics and finance to social science, humanities and business studies students. She has extensive teaching and consultancy experience both in this country and abroad.
