You’ll learn how to make your prompt tell you where you are; use what you’ve typed before; type long command lines with very few keystrokes (command and filename completion); remind yourself of filenames when in the middle of typing a command; and how to edit a botched command.

Paul DuBois is a programmer at the Wisconsin Regional Primate Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He leads a quiet life with few interests outside of family, church, and programming.
