Every human being is part of a bigger family, which is figuratively represented by the family tree. We have roots that extend beyond places and cultures of our current residences. This is particularly true for people in diaspora. Our roots still weigh a lot into our everyday living irrespective of geographical distance and time. Thus, would it not be beneficial to know and explore the advantages in our roots and avoid losing out, and losing deep? This is the main message of this book, Voices from Home: Wisdom from our Diasporic Roots.

Author Biography

Ephraim Osaghae is a business and project management professional and has worked with multinational companies with projects in Africa, Australia and The Middle East. He is also the founder of Migrants Professional Bridge Incorporated (MPB), an organization that advances and supports the empowerment, capacity building, and vocational integration of people of migrant backgrounds enabling them to sustainably participate in socio-economic wellbeing and growth for themselves, their families and the nation. Ephraim is also the author of “A Handbook for Migrants: The Good, The Challenges and The Lessons” and compiler of “A Handbook for Migrant Youth: Peer To Peer Wisdom From Those Who’ve Been There, Done That.”
