Alison Prince has written extensively for children, producing numerous popular television series and books based on historical characters. In 1995 she was the joint winner (with Philip Pullman) of the prestigious Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize. Alison now lives in South London, but frequently visits her family in Glasgow.
