While I Wait- My Journey Through Infertility

The desire to give birth to a child is not like wanting a car or a house. Once I was ready to have a baby, I needed to conceive as bad as I needed to breath. While I Wait -My Journey through Infertility will walk you through the stages of my infertility journey. It will enlighten you and bring encouragement along the way. Infertility is real; we should address it more. Infertility does not care about your age, race, or your nationality. There is a struggle going on and people are hurting because they don’t know what to do or where to turn. Even if infertility is not your issue, maybe you are connected to someone who has an infertility issue. As you read, take away: ways to tackle infertility with new tools, an understanding that you have options, resources that can help during a sensitive time in your life, knowledge that you are not alone, and take away that there is still hope.

Author Biography

Anita Shaw is a Disability Examiner for Vocational Rehabilitation and a Minister in her local ministry. Anita and her husband Tyrone have two beautiful children Abigail and Amir. They currently live in Charleston South Carolina. In 2007, Anita graduated from Charleston Southern University with her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology. She graduated in 2012 from Capella University with an M.S. in Human Services, with a concentration in Counseling Studies. She has worked in the Human Service field nine years. She loves spending time with her family, writing, traveling, and more importantly, she loves God. This is her first book. Being an published author has been her dream since she was a little girl and she hopes that her words inspire and encourage others.
