You can choose between dual mode and mono mode
Ear-hook headphones can play in dual mode or mono mode. For mono mode, please take out an ear bud from the charging case and connect it to the Bluetooth device. If you need to use the second ear bud with other devices, please take out the other ear bud from the charging case. Remember that the distance between the first ear bud and the second ear bud is more than 19 feet (5.79 m), then you can use it for the second device.

The controls on the ear phones are quite touchy, whenever I was trying to reposition them they turned off, more practice required probably. If you aren't in the Apple league money wise then these are a good option."
