The Cokin Green filter is used primarily for black and white photography with a digital camera set to black & white or when shooting black & white film. The Green filter is great for ethereal landscapes because green foliage is rendered in much lighter grey tones. Blues will also be rendered in lighter grey tones and might look washed out. The Green filter is also highly effective for indoor portraits under tungsten lighting.
