The Advanced UV filter is a multifunctional filter; blocks ultraviolet rays and therefore reduces blur, opacity and reflections. At the same time, it is a great tool to protect the lens from dust, moisture, scratches, and can be permanently mounted on the lens. The Manfrotto Advanced UV filter is water-repellent, scratch-resistant and oil-resistant. It consists of 12 layers that allow 98.8% of light transmission.
Each Manfrotto filter has been developed with the highest precision. The elaborate multilayer coating process minimizes reflections and maximizes light transmission, thus delivering remarkable optical quality. The anti-reflexivity of the filters increases proportionally to the the number of coating layers. In addition, thanks to multiple layers, Manfrotto filters provide a superior level of protection against dust, moisture and scratches.
