Looking back on it I’m hugely relieved that we made these recordings when we could, that we helped capture what a Michael Marra performance was like, down to his impeccably presented and hilarious introductions. For some time before the collaboration some of us had been faithful fans of his, and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be, for an all too brief few weeks, his backing band.
