Oslo Davis is an illustrator and cartoonist. He draws two cartoons a week for Melbourne’s The Age newspaper, as well as a weekly cartoon called Overheard in the Sunday Age. Oslo draws regularly for Art Guide Australia and Readings Monthly.In 2011 Oslo was a Walkley Award finalist in the cartoon category. Oslo wrote, directed and drew Melbhattan, an animation about Melbourne, and is the illustrator for the Golden Plains music festivals.In terms of publishing, Oslo has contributed illustrations to a number of books. Most recently he worked on Sh*t Asian Mothers Say, by Benjamin Law and Michelle Law, as well as Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson anthologies. His clients include the New York Times, The Guardian, the National Gallery of Victoria, the University of Melbourne, the State Library of Victoria, the Big Issue and The Wheeler Centre. Review Quote
