The 2016 EE British Academy Film Awards were held today at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. The show was again hosted by Stephen Fry.
The Revenant came out the top winner scooping up best film, best director, best actor, best sound AND best cinematography. Iconic actor Sidney Poitier was granted the BFI Fellowship award.

If you weren't aware the Super Bowl was held yesterday in America. It's a huge deal over there but not everyone watches it purely for the football action.
Personally I love seeing what the half time show has to offer, this year featured Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars which was epic! Lady Gaga also appeared doing an amazing job of performing the national anthem.
For movie buffs, it's all about what trailers will be featured during the event. This year we got a sneak peak at the following films coming out this year!

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards were held earlier in the week at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
