With so many ways for children to be creative these days, you can be forgiven as a parent for feeling a little overwhelmed with how to get your kids into their own artistic groove. So why not turn to one of the fundamental creative outlets you had as a child?
We've got a huge Crayola Store right here at Mighty Ape, so why not check out some of our favourite products from their range and kick start your young one's creative spark!
1) The World is your Canvas!
If you didn't spend time as a kid creating masterpieces of chalk on your driveway or footpath, you really missed out.
Drawing rainbows, animals or the occasional hopscotch layout is essential kid stuff, which is why Crayola has an entire series of chalks available (Our favourite is the Glitter Chalk.)

Introducing Funny Paper. Fun products made from environmentally friendly cardboard.
But this isn't just any cardboard. Funny Paper uses Double Wall Corrugated Fiberboard That means it's super-strong and will last for a very long time. But best of all it's also very light so these giant play houses can be moved easily.
Most Funny Paper products are a plain cardboard colour. But this is fantastic because you can draw and paint your own designs. Children will love decorating and playing in their own cardboard house!
Now we know assembly might look difficult but Funny Paper products can be made by anybody. Funny Paper is an imported brand so it will be hard to find elsewhere in NZ.
