Despicable Me, is Illumination Entertainment's first 3D movie collaborating with Universal Pictures back in 2010. The story is about Steve Gru, the super villain who plans to take over the world, accidentally adopts 3 orphaned little girls in his high-tech apartment with a bunch of yellow bean-like minions. The movie became a big success with sales over $500 million dollars worldwide with a small budget of $69 millions. Now, Despicable Me has become a franchise with huge ranges of toys and merchandise. After the release of Millions Movie in 2015, the studio has planned a new movie: Despicable Me 3 scheduled for release in 2017.
