Author Biography:

Rhoda Wynn, MD, has completed the highest level of training in sinus disease management. She is fellowship-trained in rhinology—the specialty care of advanced sinus and nasal disease—and currently practices in the San Francisco Bay area. Dr. Wynn attended Brown University, where she graduated with honors in Biology. She received her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine. Her residency training in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery was completed at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She has published several papers in peer-review journals and presented at national meetings. Winston C. Vaughan, MD, is the founder and director of the California Sinus Institute in Northern California, a private specialty clinic focused on disorders of the nose and sinuses. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Vaughan trained and taught otolaryngology at the Stanford University Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in rhinology at the Georgia Nasal and Sinus Institute. He subsequently founded the Stanford Sinus Center in Palo Alto, California over 7 years ago. He has published many articles and chapters on his research in sinusitis and is often an invited instructor for courses on sinusitis internationally and nationwide. His website is: www.calsinus.com.
