Description

Unfulfilled by her corporate career and on the verge of divorce, P.L. Como saved every vacation day she could rustle up to get away and clear her mind. The plan: "Three weeks. In Maui. By herself." If that didn't do it, she would resort to hallucinogens. Her quest brings her on colorful adventures with interesting people in enchanting settings, but the true journey was taking place within. With a playful spirit and a ready heart, she pushes past self-imposed barriers, her own self-doubt, and other people's opinions, to reclaim the wisdom that was there all along. Like international best seller "Eat, Pray, Love," Como's memoir inspires readers to explore life's most important questions while traveling with her on a path of love, wonder, truth, and beauty.

Author Biography

P.L. Como earned her degree in journalism from New York University and has been writing passionately and professionally for nearly twenty years. Her second screenplay, "Dear Phoebe, "won First Place Comedy in the Movie Deal Screenwriter's Contest. After too many years on the corporate Ferris wheel as a professional copywriter, she took a leap of faith in 2013-landing her at her writing desk at her home office in Fort Lauderdale, with a stiff cup of Kona coffee and under the scrutinizing gaze of her rescue dogs. With an avid interest in Eastern philosophy and yoga, Como also attained a master's degree from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) in Palo Alto, California. From henceforth she shall write about what sets her heart on fire-love, beauty, truth, wisdom, and the fine art of being free. "21 Days in Maui "is her first published book.
