Unlike many games available, 7 Wonders is quick and is playable within 20 mins. You are also impacted by the person on either side of you, but less (if at all) impacted by the person opposite you, so a great game if you have 4+ people to play.
Ample ways to win, so tactics can vary.
Reccommended if you have a small amount of time to fill in between other games!
This game has a deceptively simple gameplay that allows for some complex strategies (even more complex with the expansion). The best thing about it is that it takes 30 minutes or so to play, meaning you can often use it to fill in time between other activities easily. This game is easy to pick up; taught 6 others to play for the first time last week and had very little problems. The first game might take a little longer than the 30 minutes to play; the short game time means we can play it while waiting for others to show up for the longer games.
My friends and I really enjoyed this game. You know you can get better scores so you want to keep playing. The scoring seems to take longer than actual playing but it's part of the fun!
I've played this game a lot since I bought it. So strategic, and I normally can't tell who is winning until the scores are tallied as it really comes down to the wire.
Enjoyed this, took a while to learn but rules were clearly explained with a handy summary guide too. Improves with a few plays to warm up.
The game feels like solitaire. The interaction between players is minimal. And the victory condition is merely your a score rather than something more fun; say an military, economic or scientific victory.
7 Wonders is a game I would recommend for people who are starting to build a board game collection. It has simple mechanics that are easy to learn, but that are different from ‘classic’ games. The set time of 30 mins is a bonus feature
We love this game, so do our children 12 and 9 years old, we all want to win!! We play most nights before bed

Seems good and the kids love it but I find it too limited. And repetitive.
The game evolves from simple theory to a great variety of strategies, each wonder provides a whole new way of conquering competitors, each and every game comes with multiple surprises! It will replace my computer games for months to come.
Very well balanced and fun game. My 10-year old son picked it up in no time and we can get through a game in about 20-minutes. Well recommended.
We are thrilled to have found this game. It only takes 30 minutes and the whole family loves it (including our seven-year old), while it's advertised as for age 13+. It's about building one of the Seven Wonders – gathering resources, earning battle points, trading and victories. I can't recommend it highly enough!
