Another game in the kind of vein of Catan, the Big Box comes with 5 addon packs, each with 4 sets of extra rules. Games dont seem to last an hour – thats with 6 people still learning the rules. Only played the main game, but Im sure it will be a favourite for a long time to come, and will fight with Catan for space on the table.
Alhambra big box is a very large game. and while the core mechanics of the base game are fun and light. the size of the box intimidates potential players as the don't understand that most of the time you will only be using a small proportion of the boxes content. the addition of expansions give the game an amazing amount re-play ability. all in all a very good game
