In Loving Memory is the 3rd album from Victory Records’ alumni, the Cleveland, Ohio 5-piece Beneath The Sky.
A strong representation of Beneath The Sky’s take on modern metalcore, In Loving Memory takes its musical cues from death & dark metal & vocal combinations that earn them comparisons to Shadows Fall & Killswitch Engage, going from a deep, guttural growl one minute, to a singing, melodic chorus the next.
Beneath The Sky formed in 2004, self-released their 2006 EP More Than You Can Handle & released their debut album on Victory Records, What Demons Do To Saints, the following year. In 2008 they released their 2nd album The Day The Music Died - and 2 months later broke up.
However, early in 2009 the band announced they were reforming - In Loving Memory is the result of the comeback!
