Mario and Sonic are heading to Rio de Janeiro for Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The '90s-rivals-turned-2010s-best-buds will be joined by friends such as Donkey Kong, Dr. Robotnik, Miles “Tails” Prower and Luigi. They'll compete in Olympic sports such as soccer (or football), rhythmic gymnastics, table tennis and the 100-meter dash.
